Witch's Night Out!

I went to A Witch's Night Out at Gardner Village last Friday with my mom and sister in law, Amalia. It was alot of fun. We dressed up as witches and hung out all night. All the stores where open with lots of sales going on, music and dancing, and all kinds of different activities. Also, we went to a dinner show they had going on, WITCH-A-PALOOZA. At the end of the night they had drawings for lots of really cool prizes. I didn't win anything, worst luck ever, but it was a blast.



Gardner Village was also decorated with lots of fun witches all over. Of course we had to stop and pose with a few:

The dinner show was alot of fun. The cast and music was hilarious and the food wasn't too bad either!



There were TONS of women (a few men as well) dressed up, some more than others. Here are some of the ladies that I thought their costumes were just great so I had to snap a pic...





We had such a fun time, and it was nice to have a night out. I am definitely planning on going next year!

Hee Haw Fun!

We went to Hee Haw Farms in Pleasant Grove on Saturday with Brandon and Alex. It was alot of fun for all of us, a little dirty, but well worth it. It was so sad, when we where leaving that night, Mason started to cry and say "I don't wanna go!" We will have to definitely go again next year.

I love October, there are so many fun fall activities for families.

Dino Park

We went to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden on Friday. We have wanted to go for awhile and the weather was perfect so we finally made the journey. It is quite different from the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point, but alot of fun. Instead of having all bone displays, they had replicas of what the dinosaurs might actually look like. I think that made it more fun for Mason. He was so excited to see them, he would yell "Mommy look, a dinosaur!" There were also speakers by the displays that made dinosaur lound sounds (that occasionally scared him a little bit). Here are some fun pictures I took:

There was also a dinosaur playground for the kids that had a huge slide, tunnels, an archaeological dig spot, and other fun things.







I highly recommend going if you get the chance because there is so much more to do there that I didn't mention. It was so fun and Mason really enjoyed it. We can't wait to go again!

Officer Dib

David started training for his new job today as a Corrections Officer today. It was just orientation, but he likes it so far and thinks that he will continue to as well. He has to stay clean cut and shaved, goodbye Goatee! Plus he has uniforms that he wears each day, smaller laundry loads too!


I must say that this new career change has its perks :) Well, I kinda liked the goatee, but won't miss his scruff. He will be training for 14 weeks and then we will see how much he REALLY likes it!

Mason's New Obsession

Although Mason still loves Thomas, trains, and all that good stuff, he has now moved on to something else to occupy his thoughts, Snoopy! He is not AS obsessed as he was with Thomas, but it definitely takes precedence over most other things. David couldn't be more happy because Snoopy was a childhood love of his as well (he decorated the crib in Baby Snoopy stuff when Mason was born). Mason's first interest in Snoopy was when David put in the "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" movie. It was love at first sight! That has become Mason's favorite movie now, he calls it "Snoopy Great Pumpkin".



Whenever we go to the library now to let him pick out movies, he always grabs some form of Snoopy movie. I must say that it is really cute how excited he gets when he watches it, and he laughs pretty loud at certain parts (like whenever Snoopy kisses Lucy, or plays with Woodstock, etc). It's too bad that he wasn't this interested in it last year because we dressed him up as Snoopy for Halloween. He was so cute...





I love each of the little phases that he goes through and can't wait to see what's next!
