Munch! Munch!

So Avery is a little over 5 months now, and most of the time we lay her down this is usually one of the first things she does...

So instead of her trying to eat her feet all the time, we figured that we would try and give her something a bit more nutritious (and tastier). We waited until Mason was about 6 months before we gave him anything, but Avery already has 2 teeth and is rolling over which is earlier than Mason.

So I got some baby rice cereal and made it really thin because I didn't know how her little tummy would like it. The first couple little bites, she really wasn't sure what to think, she just kinda starred at me sucking on her tongue. After that though she got a little excited whenever she saw the spoon coming at her. It was so funny, she would try and grab it and shove it in her mouth.

I can't believe that we are starting to give her baby food already! Time has surely gone by so fast these past 5 months!

Preschool Fun

So Mason has been going to preschool now for a couple months and is really enjoying it. I think his favorite part is Show & Tell, even though his usually consists of random things he borrows from Grandma's house (candles, leaves, etc.) Well, last week they celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday and he came home looking like this:

I thought it was so funny and cute. I figured, if he is "Thing 1", then who is "Thing 2"?

He has also been working on writing his name, and I personally think that he is doing really well! Even though it looks like "MASOM" And he drew a picture of himself too...

Birthday Decisions...

So I am already running late this year. Previously I would have already had Mason's birthday planned and paid for by now, I know only 4 months away! But I thought I should stop planning his birthday's for the next 10 years and let him help decide. So I came up with a list of things he is all into, and thought that he could choose from the list. Well, he has just keeps thinking that he wants to do ALL of them and have four parties! He is a funny little dude. So I figured I would ask for your opinions on the matter... What say ye?
