Puppy Love

Our sweet little Avery is absolutely gaga over dogs! She gets super excited whenever she see's one, and she can spot them everywhere... she even says "Dah Dah" for "Dog Dog".

We doggy-sat the in-laws dogs a little while ago and she was in doggy heaven! Whenever she would wake up from her naps she would point to upstairs (took naps in the spare bed in the basement) and would say "Dah Dah". Their dogs were really sweet with her, and would sneak in kisses which she did not like too much however. Doggy Kisses, YUK!
Look at those puppy eyes, they are just screaming
"HELP ME!!!"Puppy Hugs

Avery also LOVES stuffed doggies. She just holds them and cuddles them, it's so tender!
She fell asleep holding them one night in her car seat, AAWWWW!

Bedtime Stories

Each night we will read Mason a couple of stories before he goes to bed. Usually Avery is already in bed long before Mason, but she had a very late nap yesterday so she was wide awake. Well, I guess that she wanted to get in on the action too because she crawled into Mason's bed with him while David was reading a story. It was so stinkin adorable! She just laid down on the pillow next to him, and Mason loved it. He wanted her to sleep in his bed with him the whole night, AAAWWW! It's moments like this that just make my heart melt. I love these two little ones so much, can't even imagine my life without them!

Avery's 1st Playdate

One of my neighbors came over today and hung out while Mason was at preschool. She has a little boy that is a month younger than Avery, so we thought they could "play" together. It mostly consisted of them crawling around & over each other, examining & eating toys, and blabbing. It was mighty cute.

YAY for Preschool!!!

Today was Mason's first day of preschool. We were both just a little bit excited...
This year he goes 2 days a week for 3 hours each day, HALLELUJAH! I know the time will go by so fast and before I know it he will be in Kindergarten, but I can't help but look forward to some quiet time around here. He is growing up so fast, and David is having a harder time with it than I am! He will probably be the one who cries when Mason does go to Kindergarten, but we will just enjoy it while it lasts.
