4 Years!

Yesterday was our 4 year anniversary, I can't believe it has been that long already! I just have to say that it has been the best 4 years of my life! Well since our anniversary was on a Wednesday night, and David has scouts and I had a certification class, we decided to go out last Friday to celebrate.

We dropped Mason off over at his cousin's house to spend the night, thanks Tim and Sherri, we owe you one! Then we headed off to the Timpanogos temple. It is such a beautiful temple.

After we headed off to dinner at the Melting Pot. It was our first time there as well. We had heard pretty good things about it so we were excited to go. The food there was really good, especially the dessert, YUM YUM! I think that we will definitely be going again, probably in the very distant future though (kinda pricey!)

Just a side note - these are all pictures from the Internet, not ones that I took, hence the bottle and glasses of wine...

We spent the night at the Anniversary Inn in the Phantom of the Opera room. David thought that since I LOVED the movie we should stay there and he would would watch it with me, finally! He is a sweetie, but unfortunately he feel asleep like 15 minutes into the movie! Oh well, I guess thats what happens when you have to get up and 5 every morning for work, least he tried I guess! He will just have to take me to see the actual show whenever it comes to toen next :)

It was such a nice evening, and again thanks to Tim and Sherri for watching Mason, sorry about his early morning freak-out! Anyway, I have to thank my little hubby for planning it too!

David's Graduation

David graduated from Utah State Corrections Academy today, YAY DIBBY! It was a grueling 14 weeks. He had to lots of classes on ethics, regulations, history, laws, and so forth which were all followed by tests. David also had to practice defensive tactics, he got maced in the face, shooting different guns and rifles, and lots of physical training (look how skinny he is now!). Now he has to do a few weeks of on the job training before we find out were exactly he will be working, and I know that he will work his hardest and do is best wherever they station him. We are all so proud and of all his hard work!

David also received the Academic Achievement award. He had the highest academic score out of his whole class, there was 36 graduating officers, so that is a great accomplishment. They gave him a plaque and a certificate too, but I forgot to get a picture of him holding them... I will next time he is all dressed up :) GOOD JOB!

Lights at Temple Square

We went to see the christmas lights at Temple Square with my sister and her family on New Years Day. It was the first time we had been since David and I got married. My camera died so I was only able to take a few pictures. I love going to the temple, it is so beautiful with all the lights and nativities this time of year. If you didn't make it last year, then be sure to go this year!
