The Big Move!

We have finally done it! We have moved out and into a place of our own after almost 5 YEARS! Wow, time has really flown by. We actually moved in about a week ago, but have just gotten the Internet hooked up, so now I feel complete and can blog again. First, I have to show you our new home. I took this picture back in October, so now just picture it with a bunch of snow...

I think the thing I am most excited about besides having a "craft room" is the garage! No more scraping snow and ice in the wee hours of the morning! I have not taking any pictures of the rooms inside yet, because I still have a bit unpacking and organizing to do, plus I can't wait to by some new furniture as well :) But here are some pictures I took of Mason. David decided to let Mason help paint his bedroom to make him more excited about living there. It was really cute, and he didn't do too bad either.

I do have to add this on though, packing was a ROYAL PAIN! I really don't ever want to have to do it again, I didn't realize how much crap we actually had! Well, after one long day of packing, Mason was so exhausted that he just crashed. Now normally he will fall asleep on the couch, but not in this position...

It was just too funny to pass up a photo opp! Anyway, thanks everyone who helped with the whole process. We are so excited and love our new home.

A Charlie Brown Christmas

Between the baby and the move, it really hasn't seemed much like Christmas to us this year. We still haven't finished shopping (well, really haven't started) and we weren't going to do any decorations, including a tree, but that is were the joy of kids comes in. Even though it didn't feel like Christmas to us, Mason was all to aware. He has been super excited for Santa, Christmas movies, PRESENTS, reindeer, and a tree. It wasn't fair to him that his mom was being a humbug, so I gave in. Mason did it pretty much all by himself, and after he was done he said it looks like the Christmas Snoopy tree. He is such a cutie.
