Avery turns 2!

My sweet little girl turns 2 today! I can't believe how fast these past years have gone by. With Mason things seemed so much slower, probably because he was our first and we hovered over his every move. It just flew by with Avery, I must be getting old(er). She is still little and petite, but she is just a smartie pants. She talks SO much! You can have a complete conversation with her and she really understands a lot. She is also a little mover... always doing something. I know if I don't hear anything from her than she is getting into something, and usually not good! Avery is such a climber, in and out of her crib, table, chairs, counters, etc. If there is something she wants, she will find a way to get it! She keeps my busy and always on my toes, but we love her so much and are so grateful that she is part of our family.

A couple weeks ago we celebrated her birthday early due to weather and work schedules. We had a Milk and Cookies party at Wheeler Farm in SL and celebrated with family and some close friends. David's cousin was there again to take pictures, life saver! I thought I would share some she took of Avery for her birthday. She is so dang cute I couldn't pick just one...
Happy Birthday Avery! We love you so much!

Family Pics 2010

I can finally post the family pictures we got done because we gave some away to parents for Christmas gifts. We got them done by this awesome gal who happens to live here in EM, here is her website. Thanks so much Chantelle! Here are some of our faves...

Avery's Pictures

After almost SIX months we finally got pictures of Avery done. I felt so bad because we had like three sets of photos done of Mason by this time, EEEK! We went to Sears since we had a coupon (and Kiddie Kandids isn't around, but the lady that told us that they will be opening back up sometime soon....) however we ended up buying a package because she did so good! When Mason was a baby he didn't smile in any pics, but Avery just hammed it up. Here are the poses, I was really impressed with their work.

Our Yearbook Photos

A friend told me about this website yearbookyourself.com where you can upload a picture of yourself and see what you would look like through the different decades. I had SO much fun to play around with, and I especially think David's turned out really well (one picture even looks like my uncle Wayne, kinda creepy).
Here are some of our best...

G.Q. Mason

We went and got pictures done of Mason today. It has been about a year since the last time, so we figured he was due. We were worried that it would be a terrible experience again, but he did surprisingly well! He smiled and held the poses pretty good. We love Kiddie Kandids. They are a bit more pricey, but worth it. The pictures turned out so cute that I just have to share them with everyone. He has grown so much in the past year. He doesn't look like my little baby anymore, and looks more like his dad everyday (which is also a good thing).

Isn't he just SO handsome!
